The Karl Jobst Scholarship was created to provide support aspiring dentists, dental hygienists and those who wish to work in academia. Students from all majors and areas of study are encouraged to apply. Karl Jobst, Grove, OK, dentist has seen struggling students who want nothing more than a college education but be denied due to finances. This scholarship hopes to reverse that, in part, for at least one student.
To be eligible, each applicant will be asked to submit a short essay discussing your strengths and unique traits and how they will help you in the future. The award for this scholarship is $1,000 and all applications must be submitted by May 1st, 2018. At the conclusion of the application period, a committee will confer and select a winner by May 30, 2018. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded by June 31, 2018.
The following people are eligible for the Karl Jobst scholarship:
- High school students graduating this calendar year, and have been accepted into a college, or university in the USA.
- Students currently enrolled in a college or university, and not having reached their senior year.
All applicants must be a U.S. citizen from the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
In under 500 words, discuss your strengths and unique traits and how they will help you in your future endeavors — academic or professional.

By submitting an application, the applicant gives arl Jobst and affiliated companies consent to use their essay, name and information for marketing and promotional purposes. There are no costs or fees associated with application for this scholarship.

The winner will be selected by the end of May, 2018. The winner will be contacted in early June, and have two weeks to respond. If the winner does not respond, a new winner will be selected.
